These terms apply when you use GrappleMap — the website at grapplemap.uk and any related forms or pages. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

What GrappleMap is

GrappleMap is a beginner-friendly directory of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms in the UK. We list gyms, surface trial-class and beginner information, and forward enquiries to gyms when you ask us to. We are not a gym, do not run classes, and do not coach anyone.

Using the site

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when filling in forms.
• Only submit enquiries on your own behalf, or for a child or family member with their knowledge.
• Not use GrappleMap to send spam, scrape data, or test gym contact details.
• Not attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure.

Gym information

We collect gym information from public sources, gym websites, and (where claimed) directly from gym owners. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee that prices, schedules, contact details, or class formats shown on GrappleMap match what the gym actually offers at the time you visit. Always confirm the important details with the gym before turning up.

Trial classes and physical training

BJJ is a contact sport. When you attend a trial or regular class:

• You train at your own risk and on the terms of the gym you visit.
• The gym — not GrappleMap — is responsible for safety, supervision and its own waiver / insurance arrangements.
• Consult a doctor before starting if you have a relevant injury or health condition.

Enquiries we forward to gyms

When you submit an enquiry, we forward the relevant details to the gym you chose so they can reply. The gym may use that information to contact you about your enquiry and any follow-up. The gym's own privacy practices apply once your information reaches them.

Claiming a gym profile

If you claim a gym profile, you confirm that you have authority to represent that gym. We may ask for proof, and we may suspend or remove a claim if we believe it is not genuine. Claimed-gym edits become part of the public profile.

Content and intellectual property

The GrappleMap name, logo, layout, and original written content belong to us. You may link to GrappleMap pages freely. Don't copy substantial portions of the site without permission. Gym names, logos and other gym-supplied content belong to the respective gyms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that cannot be limited by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that:

• GrappleMap is provided “as is” for general information. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
• We are not liable for anything that happens during or as a result of training at a gym you found via GrappleMap.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising out of your use of the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
